Found trough, scrap metal from Peter Pitseolak High School, waterworks

On the cow pastures in Appenzellerland in Switzerland, stone fountains, which the artist encountered nearly every day during his stay, are used as drinking troughs for the animals. A couple with a farm nearby the Kunstgiesserei gave Farmer such a fountain with the inscription “1939”—the epitome of a catastrophic year. The artist collected the scrap metal elements that are installed inside the trough from the “skeleton” of the burned down high school in Cape Dorset, Canada.
