Badetuch, 2006

Nickel silver, 78 × 45 × 25 cm

Within the framework of an art-in-architecture competition, Franziska Koch realized the project “Badetuch” in the Seebach open-air pool in 2006. On the brown wooden railing of the former restaurant building, which was converted into a shaded quiet area, hangs a detailed sculptural reproduction of a bath towel made of nickel silver. A minimal trickle drips from the folds of the bath towel onto the concrete covered ground by means of a water pipe installed in the railing.
