The girl on the goose is one of the central figures of the composition as a whole. The modeling of it was done based on the effect it would have from a great distance – as is usual for monumental sculptures. The low-lying standpoint of the viewer, in which the proportions are slightly distorted, is balanced out by the foreshortening of perspective. The girl on the goose, like the other figures, has an expressive character in which the movement of the figure interacts with the lines of the fountain as a whole.
