Kinetic art consists of moving objects and light objects. They are powered manually but also by motors, clockwork mechanisms, or machines. In the most up-to-date state of the art, the objects are computer-controlled and are moved by servomotors. At the Kunstgiesserei, design and electrical engineers work on the most diverse problems and develop specific solutions for each kinetic work. They work, for example, with electromagnets, electronic controllers and timers, contact-free switches, or hidden drive structures.
